New from Altus: our July 2026 release wrap up

This month's Altus release covers three things: planning against a targeted set of resources, protecting approved resource plans when demand and supply sync, and more accurate project progress after a timesheet import.

Focus on the resources that matter

When you're planning, you don't need to see every person across the organisation. You're working on one project, one programme, or one planning horizon, and the rest is noise.

You can now work with a manageable set of resources on your projects and filter both resources and planning columns down to what's relevant, whether that's a single project or several at once. Less scrolling, faster decisions.

Smarter resource updates

Resource planning only works if you trust the numbers, and small mismatches between supply and demand plans erode that trust fast.

We've refined how resource values copy between supply and demand planning, so resource plans stay accurate and accidental changes don't slip in. It's a small change you won't see on screen, but it means cleaner data and more reliable plans.

Better visibility during timesheet imports

For organisations using Altus for Project, we've improved how remaining work is calculated when you import timesheet data from Microsoft Project.

Altus now counts work completed outside timesheets when it works out remaining effort, so you see the complete picture. Project progress reflects reality the moment you import, which means more accurate reporting and less manual rework for project managers and scheduling teams.

What's next

Thanks to our customers, partners, and user community for the feedback you keep giving us. It directly shapes what we build next. You can follow our roadmap on the Altus website, and if you want detail on any of these changes, get in touch with your Altus representative or certified partner.
